Course Description
An introduction to the concepts and use of digital illustration software. In this hands-on course, students work in a computer lab to develop vector graphics using industry standard graphics software and hardware.
Course Learning Outcomes
- Use basic digital graphics concepts to analyze a variety of vector graphics in terms of complexity and use.
- Design and develop vector graphics on a computer.
- Demonstrate and apply understanding of anchor points and paths in the Cartesian Coordinate system.
- Translate raster graphics into vector graphics.
- Rasterize vector graphics for defined applications.
