Program Information

This program provides students with knowledge of aquaculture practices, principles, and techniques for culturing different aquatic species in various production systems. Students gain technical knowledge, skills, and quantitative tools that are applicable towards real-world settings. In this program students acquire hands-on skills for assessing water quality, husbandry maintenance, system construction, spawning techniques, biosecurity, harvesting methods, and feeding practices. Upon completion, students will have the opportunity to go straight into the industry or further their education.
